Alum powder use for Water Treatment supplier in Navi Mumbai, Turbhe MIDC, Nashik, Pune, Tarapur

An alum is a hydrated double sulfate salt of aluminium. Alum is used in industrial and waste water treatment. Alum is used as a flocculating agent in the purification of drinking water and waste water treatment plants, and also in paper manufacturing plant. Alum removes unwanted colour and turbidity from water supplies.  Alum when added to raw water reacts with the bicarbonate alkalinities present in water and forms a gelatinous precipitate. This floc attracts other fine particles and suspended material in raw water and settles down at the bottom of the container.

Carbon uses for water filteration

How Carbon Filters Work ?
Carbon granules water filtering is a method to remove contaminants and impurities, removing chlorine, sediment, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), taste and odor from water.

How Carbon Filters Work -

Importance of CARBON increases due to its large surface area. Mathematical area calculation of one pound carbon can cover more than 120 acres of ground surface. And the simple concept is MORE surface area can absorb large quantities of impurities present in water and other liquid materials.
